Project Architect.

Urban Systems is a London based office for architecture and urbanism that pursues inventive, digitally enabled design methods to develop architecture, urbanism and infrastructures. The office is led by directors who are also engaged in teaching at leading academic institutions. Urban Systems seeks to maintain strong collaborative links between research and practice through experimental design and construction methodologies.
Currently, we are seeking project architects to lead the design development of projects scheduled for construction in China. Due to the fast-track nature of the projects, we are looking for individuals who are energetic, can manage and motivate a team, and can meet tight deadlines.
Collaboration requirements:
- project leadership experience through construction of at least one large scale project
- minimum of five years architectural practice experience
- excellent design sensibility and technical skills, particularly in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- some knowledge and understanding of generative or parametric design methods, specifically Grasshopper
- excellent verbal and graphical communication skills (Mandarin speaking and writing would be an asset)
- right to work in the UK
