"2020 Pamplona at home" is an exhibition project carried out by the Pamplona photographer Pedro Pegenaute during the confinement of Covid 19, where he invited different architects and professionals related to architecture and urbanism to make a reflection inspired by the photographic series that make up this exhibition.

"During the confinement, I felt the need to record through the image, the consequences of the pandemic in my city.

Its empty spaces invited more than ever to contemplate a desolate city.

My field of action was first of all my home; the inside, but also the outside seen from the inside. Then, at street level, from the closest thing to my house until I extended myself to the totality of an unknown Pamplona".
Pedro Pegenaute.

The inhabited house, the uninhabited city... In short, architecture became one of the protagonists of this pandemic.

Different architects and architecture professionals agreed to reflect on the current situation, inspired by the photographer's images.

Thanks to the sum of different languages -image and word-, a new reality is created that also invites the viewer to contemplate, to feel, to imagine, and to reflect on our way of living, on the human being.

With this project, Pedro Pegenaute wants to pay tribute to Pamplona and its people, and all the victims of this pandemic.

This project is part of the "Innovacultural 2020" program, with the collaboration of Fundación Caja Navarra and Fundación La Caixa. The Navarre delegation of the Official Association of Architects of the Basque Country (COAVN) and the City Council of Pamplona is also collaborating.

The exhibition is at the invitation of COAVN Navarra - on the occasion of the photography competition "Mirar la Arquitectura/ Arkitektura begira" - and will be held at the Palacio del Condestable in Pamplona from October 8 to November 21, 2021.
