The well-known architect, professor and theorist,
Vittorio Gregotti died today in Milan at the age of 92 (1927-2020), from pneumonia after being infected by COVID-19 virus.
He died at Casa Candiani, the building in the heart of Milan where he lived and which, until recently, housed the
Gregotti Associati studio, closed shortly before its 90th birthday. A closing made after the transfer to Piazzetta Bossi, a few steps from the Teatro alla Scala, to continue and complete the latest projects, and then make the luxurious donation to CASVA of Milan of the studio archive, which consists of more than 44 thousand original drawings They cover a period of time from 1953 to 2002.
