In the recent months we have witnessed how 3D printing is slowly entering into our lives, with somehow utopian projects by the time, particularly in 3D printed houses or cars. In this case, the British band Chemical Brothers has used 3D printing in the video for their latest song "Wide Open". Directed by Dom & Nic and with visual effects by The Mill, we witness the transformation of a ballerina in her counterpart 'cyborg'. They have used photogrammetry and a 3D scanner of the dancer who, after a process of post-production, has become the futuristic dancer that we present today from METALOCUS.
