Ralf Holleis, as designer, made a series of 3D Christmas cookies by way of advanced software. His high end printer took molds of ornate shapes and turned them into colorful biscuits, playing up on the growing tech-meets-foodie movement.

Holleis specializes in embossed design and graffiti, and it follows that he applied his expertise to this year’s festive dining table. The graphics and shapes are certainly surreal, apparent in the snowflake-like patterns and raised bits of sugar.

The Vimeo film allows viewers to get a sense for how the desserts are produced. While Holleis makes the entire process appear relatively simple.
