The exhibition includes more than 110 models haute couture and pret-a-porter, sketches, parts and extracts audiovisual shows, in addition to the two famous corsets worn by Madonna on her 1990 Blond Ambition tour Tour. His charismatic personality, irreverent behavior that has earned him the nickname of the enfant terrible of fashion and avant-garde creations leave no one indifferent. After the huge success obtained on the sample of another great French couture, Yves Saint Laurent, MAPFRE FOUNDATION continues its line on the biggest names in fashion and brings to Madrid which is set to be one of the great attractions autumn-winter in the capital.

"Together with Yves Saint Laurent, Gaultier is the only true art makes its way to combine fabrics and garments, is an art in itself absolutely pure." And that great truth hidden words of Andy Warhol. Gaultier himself visits Madrid to inaugurate his show Jean Paul Gaultier. Fashion universe: from the street to the stars, which provides the opportunity for the first time in Spain to admire closely Gaultier's creations (some have spent more than 1,000 hours for processing), and know his work from a differently than you're used to seeing fashion.

Since Pierre Cardin gave him his first opportunity just turned 18 years now, Jean Paul Gaultier has always updated to be in the forefront of fashion. Madonna, Almodovar, Luc Besson, Kylie Minogue, Régine Chopinot, Peter Greenaway ... have been asked to work closely with him, which shows the extent of their influence and all that will be displayed in the halls of MAPFRE Foundation from next Saturday, October 6 and until January 6, 2013.
