Emergent is a recreational and creative festival focused on the photographic media with the following objectives: It works together with photography and audiovisual schools in order to stimulate the photographic and artistic creation among the youngest ones, and at the same time, it represents a launch pad for the new emerging talented artists. It is a plural reflection space, critic and also a good place to learn about the photographic and audiovisual current world. It promotes the photography as a tool for the social inclusion, in collaboration with other entities working in the social action field. It contributes to the first level art decentralization bringing that closer to Lleida.

Entre las exposiciones planteadas:
eCREA (26 OCT - 27 NOV) es una convocatoria específia para alumnos de de escuelas de fotografía y universidades que pretende dar a conocer el trabajo de los nuevos creadores. El jurado formado por Cristina Zelich y Anselm Ros, han dedidico que los ganadores son:
1. Stéfhanie Roland (Anderlecht, 1984) de la École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre (Bruselas, Bélgica), con el trabajo: “Les enfants-modèles”.
2. Sandra Claret (Castellón de la Plana, 1975) de la escuela BlankPaper, con el trabajo: “La Ribera”.
3. Luismi Romero Carrasco (Ciudad Real, 1978) de la Facultat de Belles Arts de la Universitat Politècnica de València, con el trabajo “Budapest: Ruta Turística Alternativa”.
4. Jesús Madriñán Fernández (Santiago de Compostel·la) de la escuela Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London, con el trabajo “Good Night London”.
La exposición está producida por el Institut d'Estudis Ilerdencs – IEI.
