Ekain Arquitectura (Donostia-san Sebastián, 1979) is an Architecture studio established by Ekain Jiménez Valencia in 2014. He graduated as an architect from the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra in 2004, obtaining the qualification of Outstanding in the Final Degree Project. Between 2005 and 2007 he completed the Doctorate Programme in Architecture (Theory of Spanish Architecture) at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, complementing it with teaching the subject of Analysis of Forms.

Between 2003 and 2007 she worked in the company AH&Asociados (Alonso, Hernández & Asociados), working on the development of projects as head of communication and dissemination and, additionally, as head of the Workshop (national competitions) in the R+D+i department (idea).

Since 2014 he has been working in his own office developing building and refurbishment projects. He shares authorship in commissions that require a multidisciplinary approach. He bases its activity mainly on the drafting of projects and project management for both new buildings and refurbishments, whether for companies, individuals, or communities, in the residential, business, or commercial fields.

Between 2015 and 2016 he was secretary of the organization Mahaia Araba - Mesa sectorial para la Cultura en Álava, and a member of the subsector of the architects' group. This committee aimed to draw up a document of objectives for the cultural sector in Alava to be submitted to the authorities.

In 2017 she completed her Master's Degree in Teacher Training, at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. With an outstanding grade in the TFM (The use of freehand drawing in transversal education).

From 2018 to the present, he has been a member of the Álava Delegation of the Official Basque-Navarrese Architects Association (COAVN), where he organizes exhibition activities, citizens' sessions, debates, and guided tours.
