It has made public the decision of the first of the 4 contests of Think Space. The initiative curated by the Storefront Gallery Eva Franch i Gilabert, has proposed to develop the competitive working on the concept of "borders".

For this first contest "Urban bordes " the judges and editor of the bases has been OMA partner Shohei Shigematsu. The winners were Jesse Gregory Foster and John Mahoney Honsa Switzerland and the U.S. respectively, the second prize was obtained by Greeks and Sofia Krimizi Kyriakos Kyriakou, and third prize, the jury has selected the Spanish Javier Jimenez Iniesta and David Jimenez Iniesta.

Central peripheries and peripheral centralities are existing conditions within contemporary understandings of the city. New systems of mobility, communication and capital management have produced a multiplicity of states of centrality and isolation in social and spatial terms beyond nineteenth century ideas of center and periphery or production-work-leisure-living. Urban Borders asks for submissions that are able to bring together different notions of centrality and periphery into play and problematize existing living conditions within urban scenarios.
