Jaime Prous Architects is the team that has designed these residential blocks, which try to dematerialize the architecture in blocks that are integrated into a natural environment characterized by being excessively dense and forested.
These homes designed by Jaime Prous Architects have as protagonists the porches and the terraces, elements that independently, articulate the boques to each other, which offer a typological diversity of housing in each one of them.

Description of project by Jaime Prous Architects

A very dense and forested landscape, a very noticeable topography and a density that a priori could be excessive for that place, were the premises with which the elaboration of this contest was started.

The concept is to dematerialize the architecture. The result is a series of volumes nailed to the ground with the aim of integrating into it. These volumes, of two and three levels contain in their interior a variety of typological units. Walkways and independent communication cores articulate the volumes among themselves generating the entrances and creating the true protagonists of the architecture: the porches.

The typology is summarized in a concept: "why living looking at nature when you can live in it". For this reason, all the interior intervention is developed not only with the purpose of living looking at the landscape, but living in the landscape itself. In this way, porches, terraces, pergolas and gardens are the identity of the architecture.
