Carmen Francés, Tomás Francés, Nuria Jorge, Delia Izquierdo, Jorge García. AJO taller de arquitectura

AJO taller de Arquitectura is a team of architects, who share a broad and transversal vision of architecture and creativity, specialized in different areas such as rehabilitation, building, digital reality, education, design, and marketing.

AJO taller de arquitectura was born in 2014 with a clear vocation to combine Architecture and Play. The studio is made up of Carmen Francés, Tomás Francés, Nuria Jorge, Delia Izquierdo and Jorge García.

The team considered the architecture as a discipline-oriented to construction, but also to education and playful experience, capable of providing a new way of interpreting space and the buildings and voids that compose it.

Their activity is characterized by the use of recycled materials, the experience of complex structures and concepts using simple and accessible elements, and the use of light as an ideal construction «material». They are especially concerned with the conservation and enhancement of traditional architecture, its techniques, and trades related to the part of the culture and local identity, especially in rural areas.
