The 11-storey building apartments -walking north along Tenth Avenue, 520 West 28th project in New York's Chelsea- is completed and the photoset offers a glimpse of the building's opulent amenities that facing towards the popular High Line elevated park.
Going down the High Line stair on west 28th street is the main entry. Once inside, there was an immediate view to the outside-across the bright double height sculptured lobby space.
With 12 unit types, some with duplex and triplex configurations, the building has a total of 39 apartments, plus one for the live-in super. All apartments are fully wired to be “smart homes." There is a robotic parking system that parks and retrieves resident's cars on call. Other high-tech features include an automated storage system similar to those found in Swiss banks inside the building, which retrieves valuable from hidden vaults and brings them to a secure space.
Communal spaces available to the residents are revealed in these images show us a 23 m (75foot) swimming pool topped with a huge curvaceous skylight, accompanied by an IMAX theatre and a gymnasium, all underground.
The outdoor area was landscaped by Brooklyn-based Future Green Studio to include a green wall and water installation.
Residents who have already purchased the development's apartments– which range in price from $4.95 million (€4.16 million) for a two-bedroom condo to $50 million (€42.02 million) for the penthouse – were due to move in June this year. However, photos taken in October showed some scaffolding still.
The project, unveiled in 2013, is the late Zaha Hadid's first in New York.
