Architectural narrative about the recently-completed Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area Visitors’ Center in California’s San Bernardino Mountains, designed by Los Angeles-based architectural firm Touraine Richmond Architects.

The building is constructed in addition to a number of improvements to the park. The center is surrounded by native trees of Sycamore and has an area of ​​3,000 m2. With a design that aims to have a minimal impact on existing landscape, the building is self-sufficient and has the ability to operate without the power grid of the city.
