The 2018 edition The Litta Variations/4th Movement, -a project curated by DAMN° and MoscaPartners- is inspired by music practices and particularly by the formal technique of variation. From music to design, the challenge is to investigate the concept of variation in the creative processes of studios and brands.

‘This wooden pavilion is imagined as something between a forest and an open-air cathedral. Being ordered by Palazzo Litta’s Renaissance grid plan, its matrix of interconnected rooms and corridors culminate in a central clearing for talks and events.’
‘The intimate surrounding rooms are intended as a place to relax and converse during the busy days of Fuorisalone. A soft surface underfoot offers a texture of contrast to the many miles of pavement that visitors will have traversed.’ adds Khan.
