- First they want to order the flows between the users of the complex, athletes, public and managers both in current situations and in the near future with the new additions. In this way, with prefabricated modules they combine the specifications that each group requires.
- And second, they want to highlight the environment in which it is located with a light creation, with a foundation that is not aggressive with the terrain.
Description of project by BAMMP
The Matadepera Municipal Sports Zone (ZEMM) is the new area determined in the planning review in 2010, located on the southern edge of the municipality, on gently sloping plains, between pine forests and small streams as usual in the morphology of the Vallés region.
It is expected that sports zones will be placed in this area, such as the current soccer field and the future artificial grass hockey field; At the same time, a project has been drawn up for the implementation of the buildings that provide the different services for sports activities; in this particular case, it is the access and shelter and meeting space in the soccer area, as well as a small bar and an area for access control and administrative management.
The intervention variables that have been proposed at the project level are derived from a constantly changing programmatic process and from an environment with a very fragile potential:
On the one hand, the aim is to organize the flows between athletes, the public and activity managers, both in current transitory situations, generated by prefabricated modules that function as changing rooms, and in definitive situations in the near future; making the specific requirements of each group compatible with the need to formalize meeting spaces.
On the other hand, it also wants to bring out the best of the environment, with a light and reversible implementation, with a building on stilts that does not alter the topography and allows the generation of various types of sheltered and shaded spaces in summer. It is a building that integrates at the same time, a panoramic balcony, a porch, an umbrella, a terrace, in short, an ideal place to follow the competitions while enjoying the outdoor scenery.
